Total Lunar Eclipse

Lunar Eclipse and the Winter Solstice

I’m pagan and this rare celestial event intrigued me. It was special and I wanted to do something different to celebrate it. The last time a total lunar eclipse coincided with the Winter Solstice (Yule) was almost 500 years ago and it will be at least 90 years before it happens again. I decided to get away from the city and go to the lake.

I went to Walnut Creek, which is a nearby branch of Keystone Lake. The night sky was clear and the temperature was around 48 degrees. I arrived around 11pm and I was the only one there. It was completely deserted. I was thrilled and excited. I built my bonfire from two huge tree stumps that were about a foot from each other. I placed more wood between them as well as my Yule log. It burned all night.

An Unmarried Love Interest… Finally!

Mickey aka used Facebook to transition our colleague-ship to friendship and now a budding relationship. We met a little over two years ago. and I was instantly attracted to him, but I didn’t make any overtures. We both started working at the same day. We frequently talked while in training then we went out to separate teams and had different schedules. We’d see each other on the floor occasionally, but our interactions were limited to small talk. Then about five months ago we was assigned to the same team.

We still didn’t have much interaction because we sat on opposite rows and our phone cord leashes kept us bound to a 2-3 foot radius. In September, we added each other on Facebook.  He would occasionally like one of my wall posts, then he began randomly commenting on them. A seat opened up next to him and I was sick of butting heads with one of the women that sat near me, so I took the opportunity to move next to him. I think that was around the end of October. We started talking more. We subtlety flirted and we stood within inches of each other during team meetings. I began liking a few of his wall posts or making a comment here and there.

Tighty Whitey Guy

My resolve to avoid married men faltered again. Yesterday, I called in to because I didn’t feel well.1 Tighty Whitey’s spidey sense must’ve been tingling because he started texting me.

We hooked up once over the summer, while his wife was out-of-town, but hadn’t had an opportunity because our work schedules are so similar.2 Before we hooked up initially, we had IMd on yahoo for a couple of years. I’ve been with more than my fair share of married or otherwise attached men and I was not interested in adding yet another to my Book of Dalliances. However, he was very persistent in pursing the affair and happened to catch me on a day when I was horny and willing to ignore that he is married.
