While I was at yesterday kept text messaging me. He, , , Adam, Jack, and Ashley was partying at our house. I wanted to join them, but I had to finish my shift. I’ve been doing very well at my job and I decided not to jeopardize my momentum by leaving early.

About an hour before my shift was over Dudney messaged me and told me Nick got beat up. At first, I thought he was joking. Then he told me they had moved the party to Nick’s house. Adam, Nick, Jack, and Ashley are all roommates. Apparently, Nick started being a dick after he was and shit escalated. Dudney was and wasn’t making much sense. He just kept saying that Nick was bleeding and stuff.

After I got off work I texted Nick to see if he was alright. He told me no and that he didn’t know what was going on. I texted him a few more times, but he didn’t respond. Not too long after, Adam called and told me what happened.

He said that Nick had gotten really drunk and was being an asshole. He kept talking shit to Dudney and it irritated Adam. When Adam said something Nick hit him in the head. Adam told Nick to stop because he’s and he didn’t want to hurt him. Nick kept on antagonizing and it pushed Adam over the limit. He punched Nick twice and Nick fell to the ground.

Adam said at that point he told Nick it was over and to drop it. Nick’s pride was hurt and he hit Adam again. That was Adam’s breaking point and he let loose on Nick. Apparently, he had Nick on the ground and was hitting him. He said Nick’s jaw split open and was bleeding badly. That’s what made him realize what he was doing and stop. He said Nick got up and went inside the house then came back with his BB gun and told everyone to leave. He was shooting at the car when they left. I haven’t really gotten to hear Nick’s side yet.

Adam told me he thought the core reason behind the fight was Nick’s with Adam for spending the night with me. I think that was part of it because the way Nick was behaving before he left Saturday night.

We had caught him nosing through Adam’s cell phone after Nick realized we had been sending text messages to each other. At one point, Adam had gone to the bathroom and Nick thought he had gone to my bedroom. He said (in a loud, abrasive tone), “Why don’t you go in there and get naked with him! You know you fucking want to!”

I told him he was wrong and he shut up for a little while, but he was still being a jackass. Before he left, he came up behind me and grabbed my hair. I had it pulled back in a ponytail and he wrapped it around his hand and pulled pretty hard (the way I like it to be pulled during , but no other time). I told him to stop and he let it go. Then he grabbed it again. It instantly pissed me off and I grabbed his collar and pulled him down to my face, looked him dead in the eye and told him to let go or I was going to knock the fuck out of him.

He was surprised and got a hurt look on his face. He didn’t say a word. He let go of my hair and walked out of my house. About thirty minutes later he texted Adam and told him he was about to lock the door. Adam told him again that he was spending the night at my house. We didn’t hear from him again that night.

Adam said he told Nick that nothing happened between us and Nick told him he didn’t try hard enough. I don’t think Nick is jealous, I think he’s just feeling a little possessive and doesn’t like the shoe being on the other foot. I hope they make up. I don’t want to be the cause of a long-term rift between them.
