’s third birthday was August 28th. I had to on her birthday, but I had requested today off a few weeks ago because I figured would throw her birthday party today. Jess was running low on so she decided to wait until after her payday, so the party is on September 5th. I cannot take that day off so I decided to take her to the zoo today and let her spend the night.

Jess brought her over around 11am this morning. I had stayed up until almost 8am, so I was tired. We took a nap. I woke up around 1pm, but Kayla was still asleep. I let her get her nap out because I didn’t want her to be cranky. She woke up around 3pm. Then I took her and my mom to the zoo. Kayla loves animals and my mom had wanted to see her reaction to the zoo for quite awhile.

We seen a lot of exhibits, but her favorites were the sea lion, monkeys, zebras, and lion cubs. We rode the train and carousel a few times also. She loves carousels. Then she rode a camel with my mom. She had a great time.

After we left the zoo we ate ice cream and then went to the grocery store. When we got back home and got settled we watched “The Lion King”. She hadn’t ever seen it before and she loved it. I spending time with her and she wants me to play now, so I’m going to cut this short.
