Yes We Cannabis!

The number 1 idea at change.org was Legalize the Medicinal and Recreational Use of Marijuana. It won with 19,530 votes, which was 4,536 more votes than the number 2 idea – Appoint Secretary of Peace in Department of Peace and Non-Violence.
The number 1 idea in the Citizen’s Briefing Book on Obama’s website change.gov was Ending Marijuana Prohibition. It had 92,970 points, which was 22,500 points more than idea #2. Idea #3 was Stop Using Federal Resources to Undermine States’ Medicinal Marijuana Laws. It had 66,170 points.
The voting on both sites has ended and now we are patiently waiting for a response.

Currently, 13 states have laws on the books stating it’s not a crime to possess small amounts of marijuana. Internationally, other countries have similar legislation. A number of studies reveal legalization of pot does not necessarily lead to increased usage.
