The State of Oklahoma finally released my brother November 6th and to top it off, the charges against my uncle were permanently dismissed. The was thrilled; for the first time in seven years, no one we care about is caged up inside a or jail.

His homecoming was great. We had a small get-together and dinner at Lisa’s the first night he was home. He spent the night there because she had a woman there she wanted to hook him up with. However, wasn’t interested in her.

The next night he stayed at my house. I had to that day so we didn’t get to do much. The day after, Saturday, I invited some people over to party with us, including . has been a close friend for almost twelve years, so David knew her pretty well before he was locked up.

The party was extremely eventful. The most disturbing part of it was showing up and my nephew letting him in the house. came straight to my room where I happened to be hanging out with .

As soon as Jonathan walked into my room, my heart skipped a beat and then the adrenaline started pumping something fierce. He immediately sat on my bed and then asked, “Can we start ?”

I was dumbstruck. I stammered a bit then said, “You can’t just walk in my house and ask me something like that without so much as saying hi or asking how I am.”

He wanted us to be alone. Thankfully, Tori refused his repeated requests to leave us alone together, but he continued asking me to date him and was telling me how interested he has been in me since we met and how I’m the best he’s ever had and things like that. I was extremely uncomfortable. Tori was shocked he was saying all those things in front of her.

Then he said, “I stop by all the time, but your roommate always tells me you’re not home, even when your car is here. I thought you have been avoiding me. I don’t want you to think I’m stalking you…” – which is exactly what it seems like.

David and Shawna came back from the store and saw Jonathan. Shawna knew the story about us and she told David he was my psycho stalker. David about came unglued and I had to stop him from confronting Jonathan. That man is deranged and I didn’t want my brother getting hurt or put back in jail. I told him I’d handle Jonathan. I finally got rid of him by telling him I was going to bed. There were too many people around for him to intimidate me into having with him. After he left the party went back to normal.

The next morning when I woke up David and Shawna was both gone. I called her to find out if she knew where David went and she told me he was with her. I immediately knew something happened between them and I asked if she boned my brother. She giggled and then told me they hooked up. She was worried I would be upset about it. I wasn’t.

They came back to my house later and then we all went to the David’s homecoming celebration at my mom’s house. David went home with Shawna. The next day they were officially a couple.

About a week and a half later they were engaged and we all just found out a few hours ago that Shawna and David are going to have a baby.

So in about 3.5 weeks my brother was released from prison, got engaged, got a job with Shawna’s cousin, and got Shawna pregnant. They’re definitely not wasting anytime, that’s for sure.

I have mixed emotions about it all, but I don’t have time to express them right now.
