I got to a little early today, as usual, but today I actually talked with for a few minutes. Our conversations have been little more than “hi, how ya doing?” since shortly after the “misunderstanding”1 was cleared up. I have been questioning whether I wanted to maintain a friendship with Nick or not, so I was keeping my distance from him.

He told me that he stopped the other girls he was seeing and now he is just with . Surprisingly, it did not bother me. I wished him good luck with her. He is going to need it, but I did not tell him that. He will find out on his own soon enough, I am sure.

I told him I started buying him on the Myspace “Own Your Friends” application because does not have internet access anymore and she does not want Tamara keeping him. He laughed and told me that he knew because when Tamara picked him up from work yesterday she was going off on him about it. That made me start laughing. I enjoy pissing her off as much as Shawna does.

The first time I bought him, I changed his status to “Owned and trained by Jen… but he isn’t housebroken yet.” Tamara bought him back and changed his status to “Property of Tamara. I bought him again then changed it to “Property of the State of Oklahoma Penal System.” She bought him again and changed it to “Property of his sexy girlfriend!!! Kisses Hun.” When I bought him again, I changed his status to “Property of his Ex-Girlfriend and Best Friend.” She bought him again and changed it to “Property of his NEW Girlfriend!!!” I had to buy him again and this time I put “Property of his favorite Ex-Girlfriend and Best Friend.” She has not bought him back yet. He probably told her I was enjoying pissing her off. Oh well.

I still care about him and I want to see him happy. If Tamara makes him happy, fine, I am glad. However, that does not mean I want to be with her again. She has proven herself a shitty friend more than once and I am not going to expose myself to being hurt or betrayed by her again. I refuse to be put in that position once more.

As of now, Nick and I are still friends. Our friendship is still on thin ice though. He’s on probation with me… and the state, LOL.
