Yesterday, I called Tracy Tibbels; the Human Resources liaison I’ve been dealing with since February. I cordially asked her for a copy of my personnel file and she got flat out rude with me. She said since I was terminated from the company I no longer have a right to view their file about me because it is proprietary company information. I told her that was fine and that I would get a subpoena for the file. She had little time to respond and I disconnected the call.

When there is a question of the legality of the termination, former employees have the right to their file. In the end, will be forced to turn it over, but they can be dickheads about it and stall as long as possible. Obviously, that is how they want to play it.

I talked to my Greg a little while ago. I’m glad I stopped seeing him when I did. At first, I thought it was an episode or that made me want to get rid of him, now I know it was my own good sense. Woohoo! Let’s hear it for my instincts being right. He’s not a jerk or jackass, but we just aren’t meant to be together. There are too many incompatibilities, especially sexually. Granted, I haven’t been very interested in the past 2 months, but sexual compatibility is important to me.
