What Have I Been Doing?
Filed Under Thoughts, Treatment | Leave a Comment
I have not been writing much the past four or five days because I have been transferring my websites to a new host. I have four of the five transferred and ready to go now. I am still working on this one; transferring this one is a lot of work because all the information contained on the site already and I am still learning PHP.
I have also been hanging out with Dan, Tamara, Tori and others a lot. I have not had much free time to write. We were hanging out until almost 6am this morning. They were drinking and then started singing karaoke. I recorded most of the songs and I will post them to Myspace later. I already have many pictures posted there. We have a shit-ton of fun together.

7 Habits of Happy People
Filed Under Mental Health | Leave a Comment
We all know that person. The one who is always laughing, crackin’ jokes, having fun, and just being happy, no matter what’s going on. Everyone is attracted to them, and perhaps you want to be like them. But maybe you think it’s impossible to always be happy. However, you most certainly can be happy like them and you should be happy like them.
There’s no special secrets to how these people can have so much joy. They don’t possess anything that you don’t have. The only thing they do is practice habits that make them happy. So here are seven habits that can be found in people who are always really happy. If you can practice these and turn them into habits you’ll be just as happy as them.
1. Don’t care what others think
They don’t care what others think or have to say. If they did, they wouldn’t let themselves free and be happy because of the possibility of scrutiny. Really happy people also never let negative people and their attitudes get to them. Whatever the negative people say or do just rolls off the backs of the happy people.

As an INFP, you have gifts that are specific to your personality type that aren’t natural strengths for other types. By recognizing your special gifts and encouraging their growth and development, you will more readily see your place in the world, and how you can better use your talents to achieve your dreams.
Nearly all INFPs will recognize the following characteristics in themselves. They should embrace and nourish these strengths:
* Highly creative, artistic and spiritual, they can produce wonderful works of art, music and literature. INFPs are natural artists. They will find great satisfaction if they encourage and develop their artistic abilities. That doesn’t mean that an INFP has to be a famous writer or painter in order to be content. Simply the act of “creating” will be a fulfilling source of renewal and refreshment to the INFP. An INFP should allow himself or herself some artistic outlet, because it will add enrichment and positive energy to their life.

INFPs are quiet, creative, sensitive and perceptive souls who often strike others as shy, reserved and cool. These folks have a rare capacity for deep caring and commitment–both to the people and causes they idealise. INFPs guide their behavior by a strong inner sense of values, rather than by convential logic and reason. Forced to cope with this facts-and-figures ‘real’ world we inhabit, INFPs may appear to have been imported from another galaxy! They gravitate toward creative or human service careers which allow them to use their instinctive sense of empathy and remarkable communication skills. Strongly religious, spiritual or philosophical people, INFPs may see the purpose of their lives as an inner journey, quest or personal unfolding. More practical or rational types may tend to discredit the INFP’s sources or understanding as mystical. The search for a soulmate is a preoccupation for many INFPs , who must balance their need for privacy and peace with their yearning for human connection. If there seems to be an air of sadness INFP’s spirit, blame it on this type’s longing for the perfect in all things.

Nerves
Filed Under Guys, Relationships | Leave a Comment
Time for Erick’s visit is getting closer and closer. I am starting to get nervous. I do not really know what is going to happen while he is here. I am certain we are going to have sex, that’s a given. I just do not know what we are going to talk about and what else we are going to do. Do we even like to do the same things anymore?
I am afraid that my fantasy is going to be ruined. In a parallel world Erick and I could have been a power couple, in this one, after all that has transpired; I just do not know.

What does Success mean to an INFP? INFPs are creative, sensitive souls who take their lives very seriously. They seek harmony and authenticity in their relationships with others. They value creativity, spirituality, and honoring the individual self above all else. They are very tuned into inequity and unfairness against people, and get great satisfaction from conquering such injustices. An INFP is a perfectionist who will rarely allow themselves to feel successful, although they will be keenly aware of failures. INFPs also get satisfaction from being in touch with their creativity. For the INFP, personal success depends upon the condition of their closest relationships, the development of their creative abilities, and the continual support of humanity by serving people in need, fighting against injustice, or in some other way working to make the world a better place to be.
1. Feed Your Strengths!
Encourage your natural artistic abilities and creativity. Nourish your spirituality. Give yourself opportunities to help the needy or underprivileged.

Tori’s 25th Birthday Party
Filed Under Events, Flashbacks, Guys | Leave a Comment
Last Saturday, Dudney and I threw a birthday party for Tori. She turned 24 on July 13th. It wasn’t a huge party, just a small gathering. All who went with the exception of Luis, Dan, and Tamara are family.
It is usually awkward for me to see Luis. I had the biggest schoolgirl crush on him when I was sixteen. He is seven years older than me and wouldn’t give me anything except friendship because I was jailbait. Everyone knew I had a crush on him and they constantly gave me hell about it. Now that I’m older they still haven’t let me live it down.

8 Tips to Finding and Maintaining Happiness
Filed Under Treatment | 3 Comments
After the quiz she wanted me to read an article entitled, “8 Tips to Finding and Maintaining Happiness”. I was not opposed to reading the article. I can definitely use these tips, which is why I decided to post the article here. I believe you may benefit from reading it as well.
1. Adjust your attitude.
It is vital to have an upbeat attitude to maintain happiness. This doesn’t mean that you have to become a Pollyanna who overlooks problems and thinks everything is peachy even when it isn’t. Developing a postive attitude takes repeated practice, especially if you have gotten into the habit of being critical or looking on the dark side. It is important to consciously focus on what’s positive in your life because this can spawn a sense of optimisim and hope. When you approach life with an upbeat attitude, you set yourself up for greater joy and satisfaction. That is because a positive state of mind gives you confidence and a sense of vitality, which helps make the expectation of happiness become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The secret to turning your outlook around is to start thinking positively right now. How? By expecting to have a joyful day everyday; by identifying negative thoghts and countering htem with positive or neutral ones (instead of viewing a mistake as a sign of incompetence, look at it as something you can learn from); and by embracing challenges instead of fearing them, realizing they will help you grow as a person.
