Scars Remind Us…
I’m sitting home on a Saturday night, spending quality time with my other roommate and our computers. I wanted to go out earlier. I haven’t felt like going out in almost a month. Nonetheless, here I am… at home.
Since I didn’t have the energy or courage to go bar hopping I decided to work on my blog. I had just finished smoking a little bowl and I was toying around with some widgets. I added a most-viewed posts plug-in. I tested to see which posts made the list; the ‘Self-Injury post caught my eye before any of the others. It has pictures.
I felt a quick stab of fear. Sometimes, I write about more than I should. I decided to suck it up and look at the post. It was a bit triggering; however, cutting myself was little more than a fleeting thought. My better judgment and resolve prevailed after I made myself take a good long look at my scars.
As they say, pictures are worth a thousand words.

I used to do the same thing years ago. All my scars are now faded. Well some of them anyway. The only way I can sum it up is no matter how much it hurt it was relaxing to feel the pain.
Hope your feeling better.
