is one of the bass guitarists for Sinikil. I was thrilled to see them practice. I didn’t let that on because I was still upset with . The practice kicked ass. even liked it. They sounded a helluva lot better live.

After it was over, me, Jess, , Erick, Bryan, Devin and John stood in between me and Erick’s cars goofing off and talking for over three hours. Bryan and John brought up cybersex. Erick and I exchanged an awkward glance. It made us squirm like a motherfucker.


Erick would keep his distance, then he would get closer, then distant… it went on like that the whole time. Eventually, they all left Tori, Jess and me there alone. All the hotels were booked; even if there had been a vacancy somewhere we didn’t want to pay for a full night. It was already after 6 am.

We slept in the car at the bat cave. Tori woke me up about 8 am because people were starting to arrive at one of the churches across the street and they were looking at us funny. We left and drove around town. I knew North Platte like the back of my hand in less than 10 minutes.

I stopped at a store to get some pop. I walked in and couldn’t believe my eyes. It was a convenient store that sold LIQUOR and lottery tickets! I was amazed to say the least. Then the girls and I drove around more. We found a Best Western hotel that had vacancies. It was around 10am then and people had checked out.

After a nap, I called Heather collect like she told me to, then I called Erick and told him where we were. He was relieved to hear to from me. He had been worried about what happened to us and had been driving around since 8:30am trying to find us. I thought that was sweet, but at the same time I was wondering if he cared so much why didn’t he just let us stay at his house. I started thinking that maybe he lived with his parents or something. I wish that is what he was hiding, but it wasn’t.
