said, “Here he comes.” While was walking toward us I parked my hoopty and the butterflies hit me like a ton of bricks. I kept my head down while I was frantically searching for my cigarettes. I was so nervous I’m surprised that I didn’t start hyper-ventilating. He came to my window. He was surprised we were so early. He told me that he had to finish his closing duties. He was even hotter in person. I wanted to kiss him, but we had broken up about a week before my trip. We waited in the car while he was finishing up.

I was finally starting to calm down when he came back to my car. We stood outside and talked and hugged. It was obvious we were both feeling awkward but that didn’t last too long. I got him to show me the two tattoos on his chest that I had seen so many times on cam. I really just wanted to scope his chest, but he didn’t need to know that.


He had to take a co-worker home and go take a shower. The girls and I were famished and wanted to get some grub. Erick and I decided to meet up at Wal-Mart afterwards. It’s a really small town and that’s the only thing open 24 hrs besides Perkins which Erick’s old job. The girls and I ate there.

Erick was already waiting for us at Wal-Mart when we arrived. He got out of his car and was walking over to my car when he realized he locked his keys in his car. I let him use my AAA card. Mike (the lead singer of Erick’s band, Sinikil) called while we were waiting. Erick had walked out of earshot when he was on the phone with Mike. I knew he was hiding something, and it was inevitable for me to discover what before the end of my trip. Shortly afterwards Mike and Devin (another guitarist in Sinikil) showed up.

Mike and Devin hung around with us for a little while. They invited us to the ‘bat cave’ to listen to Sinikil practice. They left before AAA showed up. Erick told them that we would meet them there. We talked and flirted a lot. I even picked him up (honeymoon style) and lifted him almost above my head. Then the girls asked where we were staying.

I asked Erick if the offer was still open for us to stay at his house, but he was vehement about not wanting us to stay there. This, of course, led me to believe he was indeed hiding something from me. I just wasn’t certain what it was. He gave the excuse that his house was filthy. I partially believed him, but that was only because I desperately wanted to. I didn’t want to believe he would lie to me.

I got upset and started throwing my attitude to him. I even laid the trip that we would have to sleep in the car; all to no avail, which pissed me off. I went inside Wal-Mart to get a pop, and then I went inside the store because I wasn’t ready to face him yet. I went to the bathroom and tried to cool off. It didn’t , so I sat down in the arcade. I don’t know how much time passed, but eventually, I went outside and he was waiting at the door.

I barely acknowledged him and I walked off quickly. He caught up with me. I was giving him the cold shoulder. We got to my car and he asked if we still wanted to go watch them rehearse. I told him yeah because I knew the girls wanted to go badly. He had us follow him. AAA had come while I was inside Wal-Mart.

We followed him to the batcave. I was nervous about meeting his friends and I was still pissed off at him. As soon as we pulled up he jumped out of his car and rushed over to a group of his friends. The girls and I sat in the car. I’d be damned if I was walking in there without him. He came over to my car a few minutes later and we all walked in together.
